Danang to Hoi an by car- a good way to travel from da nang to Hoi an

My quick trip from the busy Da Nang city to the historic town of Hoi An was quite enjoyable. Heading between Hoi An and Da Nang has been made very simple either by bus or rented vehicle.

As Hoi An is about 40km from Da Nang, it’s relatively fast and easy to travel between these two places. The travel time is only about 30-40 minutes. While most buses take the busy main road between the two cities, travelling by taxi or private vehicle gives you the chance to utilize the newer coastal road, which is exactly why I chose to go with this option.

Plus, the private vehicle option also gives you the ease and convenience to stop wherever you wish. Da nang to Hoi an road: Beginning in 2008, the long stretch of beach that runs parallel to the road, which was once untouched, has been the subject of huge development now. Many new five-star resorts are quickly developing all of a sudden and there are now a couple of golf courses in the area as well. There is much to see on the way such as beautiful beaches and attractions such as My Khe beach and Marble Mountain

On the way from Da nang to Hoi an:

The road that I took to Hoi An from Da Nang is filled with beautiful landscapes. I felt very at ease as I made my way through the green mountainous road that is surrounded by trees and wildlife.  On my way out of Danang, I could see the crystal clear blue water of My Khe beach, which was a wonderful site to see. Then I came across the wonderful attraction that is a must-see called Marble Mountain. The mountains are comprised of five limestone outcrops in isolation from the surrounding plains, each riddled with caves and grottos, with some made into pagodas and shrines.

Each mountain represents one of the five elements of the universe: water, wood, fire, metal and earth. The main mountain, representing water, has a path to the top with two entrances that are open to tourists. The view from the top of the mountain overlooks the city of Da Nang, which is really worth your time if you have the chance to stop by before you head out of the city and continue on your the way to Hoi An. As soon as you arrive in Hoi An, you will be delighted to see the historic architecture, stunning mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, as well as European-style buildings that were mostly constructed from the 15th to 19th centuries.

Da nang to Hoi an is really an amazing road that I will never forget in my life.
